Generals. The TMPE1 is a MPEG-2 encoder with 1 Video
plus 2 Audio channels capacity. It supports the Composite Video input
format, the S-VHS Video input format and the Stereo Analog Audio format
(L&R channels). The SDI Input interface is available as option such
as the ASI Input standard.
Outputs. The TMDE4 encoder gives in output a LVDS parallel
stream or, as available option, the serial data stream in ASI Standard.
User's facilities. All MPEG-2 encoder parameters can be set
by means of the LCD front panel display. Particularly, the value of
the output stream rate is impostable up to 60 Mbit/s.
PC
control. An RS232 interface permits to control the TMDE4 encoder
through a PC, installing the proper software.
