1 Video and up to 4 Audio. The TMD series, microwave TV link IF modulators, is designed to carry 1 video and up to 4 high quality 15 kHz analog audio programs.

Two IF availability. To suit the TMD with all RF up-converters two IF are available: the standard 1100 ¸ 1400 MHz synthesized or the 70 MHz .

Complete microwave transmitters. Using the TMD series with RF up-converters (the ITEL’s TMR series) it’s possible to obtain a complete microwave transmitter configuration. The TMR can be fitted into waterproof boxes suitable to be mounted at the rear of parabolic antennas with direct connection to the microwave feeder or can be fitted into indoor unit suitable for standard 19'' rack mounting with waveguide flange output.

Digital audio compatibility. The audio channels are fully compatible with the ITEL digital audio codecs TD/16 and RD/16.

Easy installation. The outdoor RF units can be connected with the TMD series Modulators by low power standard coaxial cables up to 200 mt length. This guarantees an easily and fast installation.

Synthesized RF channels. For the TMD Modulators with IF 1100 ¸ 1400 MHz the RF frequency channels are easy to change by a digital PLL, each 125 KHz steps.

Data channel. High capability data channel is available using the baseband in/out facility.

Full monitoring. A front panel digital multimeter complete with alarm leds allows to check the audio and video levels, RF output power, RF RX received level, PLL lock and the squelch status.
